Sustainable in our studio
We are consistently working towards a plastic and waste free studio. We reuse as much of our plastic, tools and product as possible to ensure nothing goes to waste. We are also currently experimenting with acrylic and eco friendly resins.
Our production practices are based on reducing, reusing and recycling everything.
Our in house painted boards are made using an Australian grown and made hardwood. Camphor Laurel grows locally in Queensland and is among the most sustainable woods to harvest. Camphor Laurel is considered an invasive weed that is ecologically harmful to Queensland’s landscape, so harvesting it creates a net positive impact on the local environment.
Being hardwood you can expect long-term durability from our boards — just as you can have peace of mind in the sustainability of how they were made.
