About the Artist
Nephelle Watts
I love being a part and doing anything creative. Art is a fantastic outlet, a sort of therapy. Living in the beautiful seaside town off Lakes Entrance I am lucky enough to wake up every morning surrounded by the energy and allure of the ocean. I wanted to be able to share even just a tiny piece of that with someone else. In each of my artworks I have tried to capture some of that salty magic to share with people who maybe arn't so lucky, or appreciate that magic as much as I do.
I have worked on numerous projects across Australia including all manner graphic design, photography, as well as web design and management. I am also currently working on my very first coffee table book, revealing some of the local beach houses, architecture and the creative people who call this beautiful part of the world home.

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE - HARDWOOD FRAMED ORIGINAL
This world, an ocean away, is inhabited by large wild beasts.
This piece was created solely in our studio, from the 1200x900mm wooden canvas it is painted on, to the hardwood frame I cut sanded and sewed around its edge.
This piece is part of a small new collection of works that have just been hung in our Lakes Entrance gallery.

Commission Process
A lot of the time, you may have a specific idea of what you want a piece of art to be to complete your space.
With commission work, I find it easiest to view and measure the space personally. As our canvas's are hand-made in our workshop we can tailor make each piece to your specific size. From there we can really get an idea of where the piece will be hung and discuss size, colour schemes and framing options.
If a personal consultation is not an option, I ask you to provide me with any inspiration images or ideas and details or photographs of the space it will be going into. You can also have a look through my gallery of images and see whether there are any pieces that I have created previously that you are drawn to.
The timeline for completion is around 6 weeks, on order I will give you a specific date.
Before your piece is sent, I will email you some images to ensure you are happy with the final piece.
All pieces come ready to hang.
